Falling Glass Hits Man

This Man Has A Lucky Escape From Falling Glass Panel In Saudi Arabia

Could this incredible footage show the closest shave ever? Man somehow survives being hit by falling windowpane

Pane of glass plummets from the sky Pedestrian survives glancing blow as panel explodes in pieces

If this man would have been situated inches to the right he would likely not have survived the impact of this windowpane hurtling from the sky in this frightening accident.

Walking along the street in Saudi Arabia - this gentleman is more concerned that he's got something stuck to his shoe - than what is about to literally befall him.

Wearing a white tawb and red-and-white keffiyeh he is oblivious when a giant mirror comes speeding from above and narrowly misses his head.

The glass breaks into a million tiny pieces as it hurtles to the ground turns to dust and knocks him over with its velocity.

The man's checkered keffiyeh and his black agal are knocked clean off his head and mercifully it doesn't cut or harm him apparently disintegrating on impact.

At first he gets up and wipes himself down apparently a little shocked about what has just happened.

11-year-old fatally shoots intruder, 16, in Missouri

St. Louis County police say an 11-year-old boy fatally shot a 16-year-old intruder during a home invasion, but some neighbors take issue with that account.
Officers responded Thursday afternoon to a report of a shooting at a north St. Louis County home, Police Sgt. Brian Schellman told The Associated Press.
Police believe two suspects had tried to break into the modest ranch-style home two times earlier in the day. On the third try, they were able to enter through the front door, Schellman said. There were no signs of forced entry.
Soon after the 16-year-old entered, the 11-year-old fired a single shot that struck him in the head, Schellman said. The body of Lamonte Streeter, who lived just a couple of blocks away, was found in the front foyer.
Schellman said the shot may have scared away the second suspect, a 22-year-old suspect who remained jailed Friday after being arrested on suspicion of burglary. Prosecutors were reviewing the case to determine if charges should be filed.
Some neighbors told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that they witnessed the shooting and there was no break-in.
Donna Jackson told the newspaper that she saw the 11-year-old shoot the 16-year-old at point-blank range as they talked near front door.
"It was not a break-in," Jackson, 45, said. "He shot him in the head."
Jazmyne Clark, 18, who lives two doors down from the shooting, said the 11-year-old was on the front porch when he told the 16-year-old to approach him. When the 16-year-old reached the front door, the younger boy shot him, Clark said.
"He was never in the house," Clark told the newspaper. "He wasn't breaking in at all. He was just trying to sell him his phone."
Schellman said evidence indicated the shooting happened inside.
"Although we will not discuss specifics, physical evidence obtained at the scene indicates the deceased was shot while inside the residence," Schellman said in an email. He encouraged anyone with information to contact police.
Sharon Taylor, who lives next door to where the shooting happened and said she is a cousin of the 11-year-old's father, said the boy is not a troublemaker. She doubted the break-in story, however, calling it unlikely to happen in the middle of the day.
The 11-year-old and his 4-year-old sister were not hurt. Their mother wasn't home during the incident but is cooperating with an investigation, Schellman said.

YouTube star Tom Fletcher announces baby number 2 in cute YouTube video

Over-the-top creative pregnancy announcement videos are beginning to feel like they’re a dime a dozen. Enter YouTube star Tom Fletcher and his wife, Giovanna, who blow the rest of the competition out of the water.

The couple announced they were expecting by posting a video to YouTube titled, “Player 2,” with the caption, “Player Two Loading.”

In the video, Fletcher climbs into the attic of his home and brings down a dusty Sega Mega drive console. After setting up the game, Fletcher sits beside his wife, with his 1-year-old, Buzz, in his lap.

After he sets Buzz up as Player 1, the words “Player 1 ready” appear next to him. When Giovanna goes to set up Player 2, she selects the question mark on the screen — and the camera cuts to her stomach and a picture of an ultrasound. The words “Player 2 Loading” pop up next to her.

Congratulations Tom and Giovanna! You both have certainly stepped up the pregnancy announcement game, we aren’t sure who will be able to top it.

Man Saves Toddler Dangling From 4th-Floor Window Using A Mop

A quick-thinking man is being hailed as a hero in China for climbing outside a fourth-floor window to save a toddler who was dangling off the side of the building. And he did it using only a mop.
Wang Baocheng, of Weifang, a city in Shandong province, heard the girl's cries while walking through the neighborhood.
"I heard her calling for help and quickly ran over," he told CCTV. "I saw that the girl's head was stuck and it was holding her up."
The child had been left home alone and somehow managed to crawl out the window. Her head got stuck in the bars, which stopped her from falling.
Wang ran upstairs to an adjacent window and climbed onto the ledge.
"When I got upstairs I grabbed onto the window and used a mop to support her," he told the state-controlled news agency.
While suspended on the window pane, Wang held the toddler in place with the mop until her parents came home and brought her inside about 10 minutes later.
"I think his brave and courageous actions are worthy of praise," a resident of the building told CCTV.
The news agency reports the girl, whose age was not given, was scared but unhurt.
